Wailea, Maui Wedding Photographer – Jenna & Ben

This was such an emotional Maui wedding. From the moment Ben saw Jenna at the top of the aisle, he started crying. Jenna is such a gorgeous human (inside & out), so I can totally see why. The two shared personal vows which got the tears rolling even more.

After their ceremony at Gannon’s in Wailea, we headed down to the beach for bride and groom portraits! The beach is just a 1-minutes (literally) drive from the venue, so it made it super easy to leave the property for portraits.

I love weddings at Gannon’s because the venue has so much to offer. It’s the perfect venue if you want ocean views, but you don’t want to be on the beach. From the ceremony site, you get a gorgeous view of the ocean down in the background. I love how the venue always has bougainvillea in bloom. It’s such a fun little pop of color. Like I said above, the beach is just a 1-minute drive down the hill.

Couples portraits are some of the sweetest times during the wedding day. It’s your first time together and mostly alone (I’ll be your third wheel) as husband and wife. Everyone always says your wedding day goes by quickly and it’s so true! Taking the time to slow it down and just be together. Breathe each other in and soak it up that you’re now married.

Heading down to the beach was great because Jenna & Ben got to take the time to be alone together. To get away from their excited family and friends for half an hour. When we got back to the reception they were ready to party on and spend the rest of the night with their favorite people!
