For our 1st wedding anniversary, we decided to take a trip abroad. It takes us at least 5 hours to get anywhere from Maui, so why not go somewhere 24 hours away? Getting to the Faroe Islands was a journey to say the least. Well worth it.
The Faroe Islands are settled between Norway and Iceland. It blew my mind. My mind is still blown. It is hands down the most beautiful place I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of beautiful places. It’s secluded. That was my favorite part. The roads were empty, popular areas only had a few other people, and the people were friendly.
