Engagement photos in Hawaii are always a good idea. Jaime & Zac got engaged back home in Canada. They decided that they should take advantage of their family vacation to Maui and have their Engagement Session here!  I’m SO glad they did.

We met up at 6 am to start our sunrise engagement session. Having the perfect lighting is crucial to amazing images, so I was stoked when Jaime & Zac didn’t mind the really early wake-up call. They were so full of love and fun.. can’t you tell? We laughed the entire time and just ran around the beach like a bunch of kids.

This beach is one of my favorites on Maui. My husband and I randomly found it one day when we were out exploring. I’ve never seen anyone else at this beach! It’s become our favorite places to escape during the busy seasons on Maui where the beaches are full.  

After our session, I headed to one of my favorite coffee shops with a friend to fuel up from the early morning. Guess who I ran into?! These two!! Maui really is a small island! If you love coffee be sure to let me know and I’ll send you a list of my favorite places to grab an amazing cup. I ran into Jaime & Zac at Belle Surf Cafe in Kihei. They have the best orange cardamom latte’s! The cafe specializes in unique specialty drinks and crepes. They now have a second location on Front Street in Lahaina.

I love keeping up with my couples after they’ve left the island. I don’t get to see most of my couples again since most of them aren’t from Hawaii! Jaime & Jac got married at the most beautiful estate back home and honeymooned in Greece! So amazing! I’m hoping they’ll come back to Maui one day so we can reconnect!
