Brayden & Kelsey decided the celebrate their engagement with a trip to Maui! The two opted for a relaxing engagement-moon and stayed at The Four Seasons Maui in Wailea.
They wanted to have their session at a beach near the resort. All of the resorts in Wailea are beachfront and connected by the most amazing walking path. If you aren’t staying in Wailea, you should still check out this path! It’s a couple of miles long and has the most gorgeous ocean views! Anyway, the beach in front of The Four Seasons gets busy around sunset. Everyone wants to watch the sun dip below the horizon from the beach.
We decided to ditch the white sand beaches and go for something more rugged! I’d say we nailed the rugged look. This beach is so great at sunset because there’s hardly ever anyone there. If there are people at the beach, they’re usually on the other side so it’s never a problem.
I love this beach because it reminds me of old Hawaii, or at least what I would imagine it to look like. The rugged lava rocks that formed my island home and the crunchy brown sand under our feet make me so so happy.
